Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a SUV or station wagon around the $20k mark and was wondering whether you could recommend some good makes/models and approx. mileage they should be at for the price.
I have large dogs so need to be able to accommodate at least 2 in the back at any one time.
Fuels efficiency, safety and good handling are priority. It's been a while since I have looked at cars and have always preferred larger vehicles as I am tall.

Any help appreciated.

The Mazda 6 wagon (or Atenza) with the 2.0L engine (around 2008 and 75,000km) ticks all the boxes for a wagon that should be able to accommodate two dogs in the back. For an SUV you can have a look at the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L (around 2007 and 85,000km).
