Hi there, I'm currently looking for a new car I've just sold one of my Cars and would like to buy a brand new car, I have set aside $60,000 for a car, I have already looked at a brand new Holden Calais V witch I really like, I would be open to buying a 2nd hand BMW, Mercedes Benz or Audi but no older than 2011. Oh and it must be a sedan or SUV large enough for a family of four. any ideas on what I can buy ??

The Holden Commodore VF range is a good option as it has a spacious interior that will seat four comfortably and dynamically it's a competent performer - with a new car at least you will have a new vehicle warranty too.

The BMW 3 Series or Mercedes-Benz C Class will be out of your budget for a new vehicle although if you look hard enough you might be able to find a 2011 - 2012 model with low mileage. You could also look at the new Mazda 6.

If you are looking for an SUV then consider the Hyundai Santa Fe as it is spacious and the 2.2L diesel motor performs well - look for a dealer demo model with your budget.
