Managed to get a BMW 116i Edition 30 . Was close to get the Cerato but just didn't feel I will get much out of it.

Had test drive with all of them. VW Golf was alright but BMW is in all different quality and reliability class. Was not impressed with the VW dealer in Wellington ( Typical car salesman ). But BMW ( Jeff Gray BMW) exceeded all my expectation with the exceptional service.

I think it is worth remembering that the BMW is dearer than the other cars you mentioned so it wouldn't be fair to compare the BMW to the other choices. But your budget has allowed you to make a good choice.
