Hi,
wanted to get your opinion of these 2 models. Specs given below:

97 Mazda Familia, 1.5cc (84kw), manual, 150k...

98 Mazda 3 (saloon), 1.8cc (92kw), manual, 150k...

Is there much a difference between the two in terms of fuel efficiency, reliability, after sale value & approx price pls if I am to buy?

Quite clear to me 1.5cc will beat 1.8cc any day with fuel efficiency, but in terms of overall performance which is best option?mazda familia 1.5cc or mazda 323 1.8cc?

Are both models pretty much a like comparing apples with apples or is there a drastic variance>

Thanks,

ABayliss

These cars were badged Familia in Japan and 323 in new Zealand. Both good.

Every car you've mentioned will be fairly similar as far as fuel economy is concerned. Mostly, they're all 4 cylinder normally aspirated engines, so don't get hung up on fuel economy - none of them will break the bank.
Regarding price, again, almost everything you've mentioned should be in roughly the same ball park. Once a car reaches this age and mileage, the price will be very dependent on condition. A rough one isn't worth much at all - a mint one might be $5k. It's likely a decent average one would be in the order of $3k - $4k.
