Hi, I am looking at Toyota Corolla, Toyota Caldina, and Mazda Atenza. Something reliable, easy to service and maintain, comfortable, roomy boot, auto, 1800cc or preferably 2l. Which of the three models would be best for 3 passengers plus dog. Average around 20,000kms per year.

They are all good choices but the Mazda Atenza would rate as the favourite as it has good styling, comfort and reputation. The 2.0L or the 2.3L motor are both good choices.

The Toyota Caldina and Corolla aren't bad choices either but stay away from the D4 (Direct Injection) engines in this price range as they don't have such a good reputation.
