I'm looking at possibly buying a 2007 Holden Astra 1.9 diesel. I've heard they have some reliability issues and would be grateful for your comments?

The Astra didn't enjoy the best reputation for reliability so I think you'd be well advised to keep looking. Perhaps a more mainstream Japanese model even if its a couple of years older.
