Hi I am looking at a Toyota Vanguard . These imports are a seven seater between RAV4 and a Highlander. I have several questions.
1.Being an relatively uncommon import would it difficult buying parts ?
2.Many don't have a spare tyre ..Instead it an auto puncture repair inflator kit which in principle , I am not that comfortable with. The truth is I don’t know much about them. Are the auto puncture repair any good ?
3.Does anyone know if a spare tyre could be fitted to the vanguard if it doesn't already have one

The Vanguard is basically a long wheelbase RAV4 with 7 seats, so parts should not be an issue.
Tyre inflation kits are becoming increasingly common these days, and although they have their limitations (eg; can't repair a blowout etc), generally they do the job in most situations.
As the Vanguard has a lift type tailgate and not a side opening rear door like the RAV4, plus there is no room under the vehicle, I'm not sure how you could carry a spare.
I guess anything is possible (such as the hinged arrangement used on the Surf etc), but I would imaging it would be a big job and I don't think it would be economically viable.
