Hi - We are looking at buying a 2009 Mazda6 GLX is there anything we need to be aware of or look at when chosing one of these vehicles?

This is a good model with a good reputation for reliability. There's nothing that stands out as really being weak and they are very well regarded on the used car market. We have heard of the odd automatic transmission failure on earlier, high mileage examples, but no more so than any other model.
As an aside, the AA Roadservice vehicles are mainly Mazda6s and we have had an excellent run out of them.
