Recently I found a Premacy 2006 with 29K AA certified odometers at a price of $12,000 in a car dealer. The price is exceptionally low compared with other cars of the same model and year. Obviously I will take thorough pre purchase inspection and history check. However I still doubt its odometers even it has been certified by AA before exported to NZ. Is it possible that the car dealer changed its odometer before it was certified in Japan?

The kilometres are particularly low, however we have seen other cars from Japan with genuine low mileage too. The odometer verification is a joint venture between the AA and an internationally approved company called JEVIC . If they have verified the mileage, it will be correct.
The price seems good for this model and mileage, as long as it is the same specification as others (electric sliding door, keyless entry, alloy wheels etc).
