This is a    6 cylinder, 2500cc, Tiptronic car. Do you think this is a suitable purchase for NZ$7500? The car has done approximately 127,000km as well.

Generally speaking, it's a fairly reliable model. The biggest complaint as they age is that the plastic components in the cooling system become brittle and can break, causing overheating. If they overheat, they are prone to blowing head gaskets and cracking heads, so it pays to keep the radiator and cooling system in good condition. It costs a bit to replace these components (and it seems like a waste of money if they are still holding up) but preventative maintenance can save a lot of money in the long run.
