I have a 1997 Subaru Impreza 2.0l 5 speed manual that has no electrics or aircon or any safety features. It is over 190k and still runs quite well, although starting to look a little rusty and worn. The interior is also starting to degrade a bit. Should I be starting to look at a new car?

Well, you're not painting a great picture of your current car, so I would think the answer is quite obvious. It sounds as if it would cost a great deal to bring your car back into good order, so it would seem like you'd be better putting the money into a newer car.
