Ok thanks for that. I was thinking maybe the 2.2 Vectra as it has about 45000km less on the clock and would be cheaper to run than the V6 Honda Accord, but i will need to rethink this.

I thought you were considering an Accord Euro? The V6 you mentioned earlier has travelled high k's. Another good model to consider would be the Mazda6 (or import model, Mazda Atenza).
