Hello. Just seeking some advice on cars you might suggest to look at for our teenage daughters first car. Won't be spending anymore than $10k. Don't want anything too big and to be driven around town. Many Thanks

A small hatchback should do the trick. Here is a list of good, reliable cars to consider; Toyota's Yaris/Vitz 1.3L, Suzuki's Swift 1.5L, Daihatsu Sirion/ Toyota Passo 1.3L or the Mazda Demio 1.5L. In this price range you should be looking at year model 2006 and up with around 70,000km - 90,000km mileage. A good NZ service history is an important consideration as is an AA Pre-Purchase inspection.
