Hi there

I am looking to buy a 2005 Nissan Teana 230JM. I was wondering if there are any known mechanical problems associated with this car. I read that the 2005 Nissan Maxima (same as a Teana) had a lot of transmission issues in North America but wasn't sure that applied to NZ models and the Teana in particular. Thanks.

Our information indicates that there is no difference between the US and Japanese model, and that transmission problems are not unheard of on this model.
