Could you please comment on this vehicle as a suitable one for a family with two large teenagers requiring reliable and efficient transport around hilly Dunedin. Any idea of price range. Would get A.A. check before purchase decision.Thanks.

The 1.8L engine will manage but you should try avoid the Toyota Wish that has a CVT transmission fitted. Some have conventional automatic transmissions which are a better option. Another thing to look out for on these vehicles is the D-4 engines, try avoid these as they can be costly to repair if something fails. The Toyota Ipsum would also be a good option but try keep clear of the D-4 engine and CVT 'box. Another consideration is the Mazda Premacy 2.0L.
