Hi, I have two options, a 2004 Honda which was done 125,000kms or a 2003 Toyota which was done 142,000kms. Looks wise I would probably go for the Toyota but in terms of reliability which would be the better buy? The toyota is a year older and has done 17,000 more kms but if both cars have been serviced equally will it last longer?

The Accord has been a popular car for Honda and has a good reputation for reliability and will match the Toyota in this regard. Some Toyota Caldina's have a direct injection engine which is better avoided for they are known to be problematic. The lower mileage will be the better option but you need to consider the vehicles service and repair history - a good service history is important for future reliability.
