Hi there,

I am looking at buying a new SUV and have been investigating all my options available. My favourite is the new 2012 Honda CRV Sport. It is a gorgeous, highly spec'd vehicle that drove and handled better, in my opinion than any of the others I test drove. These were the CX-5, ix35, Outlander and Rav 4. It was alot better finished, quality wise and styling also.
I just wonder why you never seem to recommend the Honda CRV as an option to others also looking in this market that ask your advice? Not just the new ones but the older ones also. Is there a particular issue about the CRVs that I may not be aware of as people tell me they are a nice vehicle?
Thanks Jack and look forward to your response.

There is nothing wrong with the new Honda CRV but there is competition in this segment which is a step ahead of it. Most SUV's these days are running with six speed automatic transmissions and the CRV uses a five-speed 'box which is evident when comparing fuel consumption figures, which in real world we found difficult to achieve. There is also no diesel option to choose from. Otherwise it is a practical choice and we found the interior space to be very useful - it is large. Price wise it is very competitive and this alone will attract buyers. The CRV Sport will be a great option if you go ahead with buying a CRV. You can read the new car review at this link
