Hi ive been looking at a nz new 2006 mercedes c350, have just noticed they are built in south africa rather than germany. Is there any difference in terms of build quality or reliability issue compared to a german built car, as ive heard they are not as well built compared to the german built car. Also any other things i should look out for? Thanks

From our knowledge the quality of the South African built Mercedes Benz cars are just as good as German built. They have German engineers based at the plant in SA to oversee the quality control. The 2006 C350 has a good reputation and we are not currently aware of any issues with them.
