I am looking to purchase a corolla. I have seen two so far both at dealerships. Both are 2009. One has done 103000 kms and is selling for 16500 with a 2 yr toyota warranty. the other has done 65000 km and is selling for 18995 with 3 yr toyota warranty and 2 free services. Is the one done high k's worth the saving or is it better to spend that extra 2500 and go for 18995 one? I would keep it for 2-3 years and drive between 10-15000 every year.

If the budget runs to it, the 65,000km car would definitely be the preference. Both cars are relatively high mileage for their age, but over 100,000km is very high for a 3 year old car. Also, 100,000km is something of a psychological barrier for many buyers. Assuming you buy the 65,000km car, with the mileage you are doing, it should still be just under 100,000km when you come to sell, which means you will find it easier to sell and get more for it. The other car is likely to have done around 140,000km when you've finished with it, and could prove hard to sell.
