As long as you clearly understand that expensive repairs could be around the corner and you're going into it with your eyes wide open, then you will not have any nasty surprises in the event of a costly mechanical failure.
At those km's, there are no guarantees how long the engine or other components will last. Essentially, you buy a car such as this because you're an enthusiast, not because you are looking for a reliable run-about. If you are looking for the latter, there are better choices out there.
