Hi
I am looking to upgrade my trusty but tired Nissan Bluebird Sedan to a newish station wagon. I have been looking at a Skoda Octavia 1.8T, a Honda Accord 2.4E and a Subaru B-sport 2.0. All are 2005 and have between 87-97000km on the clock. Any recommendations on the best buy on performance, reliability and fuel economy.
Thanks
The Skoda Octavia 1.8T is a well packaged and reliable vehicle and was based on the previous generation VW Golf technology which has a good reputation, and fuel consumption will be similiar to the Honda Accord. The Honda 2.4L is a reliable and strong Japanese motor which can run into high mileage without any major issues. The Subaru is a AWD vehicle and the fuel consumption will be higher than the rest, if it has had any engine tuning modifications it will prove problematic and costly to repair. My 1st choice would be the Honda Accord for its reputation for reliability and it has good power delivery from the 2.4L engine. No car will be trouble free, but a good service history should prove useful in the long run.
Thanks
