I'm looking at getting one of these. They seem to all be imports under 100,000kms.Anything I should be mindful of? Only 4000 were made so I'm concerned finding headlights, panels etc would be hard although their running gear is the same as the Corolla. Also where can i find out whether the Will 1.8 VVTi engine is the same as the Corolla 1.8 VVTi engine? If there is no difference in performance I'd rather go with the Corolla

Thanks!

Your last comment probably says it all. The Toyota Will was never sold new in NZ, but was designed to have more style/flair than a Corolla, but our understanding is that it shares the same running gear.
If you are just as happy with the styling of the Corolla, it may be your best option as in the longer term the sort of parts you mention (lamps, panels etc) will be much more plentiful and less expensive than those for the Will.

Thanks Andrew,

I just got off the phone with Toyota NZ. The engine is the same as the Corolla but the transmission is more upspec and is the one found in the 2009 corolla model, still a 4speed though!

The parcel tray for the Will itself costs between $800-$1000 to source!

Cheers
