What is the general opinion of this vehicle. Is it reasonably easy to access car parts etc.I have seen one that is really cheap. What do I need to look out for in this vehicle. Just looking for a cheap car to run around whangarei and maybe the odd trip to Aucklan. Are they reasonably cheap and easy to run.

Cheers Geoff

This model did not enjoy a good reputation for reliability. The Rover K Series engine was known to suffer head gasket problems and if it is an automatic model, the CVT transmission also had its issues. Both these problems can cost more than the value of the vehicle to repair.
Bottom line is that if a car is offered at what appears to be a cheap price, there is usually a reason.

What about a Honda Accord Inspire 1990, 197190km 1997cc. What do I need to look out for in this car.

The Accord Inspire with the 2.0 litre engine (similar to the Accord Vigour) had a 5 cylinder engine which was known to be very expensive to repair and maintain due to its unorthodox and complex nature. Also had a reputation for being very thirsty.
Like many Hondas of this era, rust was a concern too.
