I'm at present looking at buying a Toyota Avensis QI 2.4 sedan $15,000 38,5000kms
What are the engines like ( I think they're out of the Camry) This model is the top spec one.
Do you think it's a good deal?

Generally speaking, the model enjoys a good reputation for reliability. However, if the car is an import it may have the D4 engine which is known to suffer from rough running problems caused by carbon build-up. If this is the case, you may be better to hold off until one comes along without the D4.
You make no mention of the year, so not sure whether it represents good value.

Sorry it's a 2007 model

According to the Red Book dealer guide, that seems to be a fair price. It's about half way between the listed Retail and Wholesale (Trade-in) value.
