Hi Jack

Im looking at buying a used import Toyota Fieilder (Corolla)2001 54,000km. Mechancial inspection was all good and no sign of rust or accident.
I have managed to neg to $8,000.
Is this an ok price and is there any know issues with the Toyota Fielder 2001 model?
Thanks for your help

The Toyota Corolla / Fielder enjoys a great reputation for reliability, so you've picked a popular model with no known issues. The mileage on this one is very low and with a clean bill of health from the inspection, it sounds a good car at a fair price.
We are aware that some import Fielder models were fitted with the 1.5 litre engine from the earlier model as opposed to the 1.8 that NZ new Corollas had. While the 1.5 was still good, we prefer the 1.8 as it had more power and chain driven instead of a cambelt.

Hi Thanks for th prompt reponse.

Just to add AA certified kms, 1.8L and therefore chain driven and from a registered MVTD.

Cheers

It doesn't get much better than that! Enjoy your new car.
