Hi,

We are planning to get a 2004 Peugeot 307 SW (Japanese import) and we would like to get your opinion on this in terms of maintenance cost (change oil, spare parts, etc).

It’s a fairly basic small car which should hold no surprises in terms of expensive maintenance costs if the specifications levels are the same as those sold new in NZ.

Used imports do have a nasty habit of throwing up unpleasant surprises at times.

If its an automatic don’t expect the smoothest of gear changes.
