Hi,

I am looking for a used car with a price range of 7 to 9 K, with ~1500 CC engine and made after 2003 / 2004. I am finding lot of Colt / Demio / Getz which have done ~80K kms in this price range.
I need your help in choosing a better car in this pack. I need an automatic transmission as well. So please suggest me a reliable and fuel efficient car.
Also please let me know if I have to look for any other car which falls in my budget.

The Getz will be NZ new and should have a long and proven service history which does provide good peace of mind in any price range. Nothing overly exciting about the car, but overall they represent good value for money.

The Colt will have more interior space but if it is fitted with a Constant Variable Transmission (CVT) and is a used import, then the risk levels increase considerably.

The Demio is another good all-rounder and is worthy of consideration.
