I am a large tall person with a disability. I have been given a grant to buy an SUV. I have tried all available brands. I cannot get past the territory it is perfect for me the trouble is I have only $17,250 that means 2006 high km vehicle, I'm not bothered about fuel I'm worried about reliability and
Mechanical costs. Should I get MBI insurance? How safe are these vehicles? Are they a good choice? Please help with any advice. What year should I go for?

Apart from fuel consumption the Ford Territory is a very good vehicle. They have had a factory recall recently with front suspension ball joints so it would pay to check and make sure your vehicle has been repaired if covered under this programme.

Mechanical warranty is a good peace of mind product to consider. I certainly would not consider the Territory high risk but anything can happen as age and mileage increase.
