Hi there, I am thinking of buying the following car, http://www.autotrader.co.nz/used-cars-for-sale/honda-accord/806204
It is a Honda Accord, Euro, 2007..however it has done just under 170,000 ks.
My question is how reliable are these cars when its engine has done this many kilometers? The car has a Honda Inspection record that shows it has been regularly serviced and runs very well. My dad checked it out in terms of the engine noise, oil, etc. A mechanical report is going to be done soon and if no problems I am thinking of bidding between 8,500 to 10,000...is that worth it?

I just see the same car with 80,000 ks (example) the price jumps to $14,000 plus...

This car still has plenty of life left in it however, it is not going to be long before it hits that 200K barrier where values take a hit and repair costs can rise.

This model Euro has been a very popular vehicle for Honda which is highlighted by their resale values.

You could certainly do a lot worse. The price is about right although $8,500 may not be quite enough to own it.
