I have been looking at a new DS3 which appears to have received a good review from you but wonder how the panoramic windscreen stands up to everyday driving conditions, in particular it would appear to be very vulnerable to stone damage/brakage and imagine it would be expensive to replace ?

There would be no problem with the screen standing up to everyday driving conditions. Body rigidity and occupant safety for example would not be compromised in the slightest with this feature.

We do share your concerns about the potential for stone damage and replacement cost however. It may be a good idea to ask the Dealer to provide the retail cost for a new windscreen and the availability (do they carry the screens in stock?).

Another discussion you should consider is with your insurance company to make sure you would have full replacement cover under a standard policy.
