Can you please advise me on the pros and cons of buying a Nisan Primera 2 ltr, 2004 CVT . I liked the car by its looks and features but very concerned about the CVT issues, I have heard of. Also if you can give a approx. indication of costs of replacing a CVT for the same model

If you like this model then look for a NZ new example only as it will have the more conventional automatic transmission or a later model with the CVT.

Nissan has improved its transmissions out of sight but stick with NZ new either way. That way you are guaranteed of support from the Nissan Dealer network if required.
