We have had from new a 1997 Honda Legend a great car served us well and done 87k now being used as a shopping trolley !
What should we replace it with? A replacement would only be used round town There are so many baby cars out there it is confusing

You don't give a budget and I'm not sure what your idea of a baby car is, so I will take a punt and recommend you look closely at the Accord Euro or the Mazda6.

You could even drop down to a Civic or Mazda3.

If you are in the market for a new vehicle, the VW Golf is worth a look.

Our Legend is a bit of an orphan -- how would you suggest getting the best price for it? It really is a super comfortable quiet cruiser but not recognised like a Lexus is

The Corolla is bland in comparison to the Golf but almost bullet proof reliability wise.

If you buy new, you do have the luxury of new car warranty so no drama anyway.

If I was buying new I think the Golf would get my vote.
