Hi - we're looking at cars and based purely on what I've seen and heard (no hard research) we are considering the Mitsubishi Outlander and Nissan Murano. Do you have any thoughts on either of these 2 cars? I currently drive a Mitsi Diamante - she had just been (touch wood) so reliable and I love her for that, also can fit pretty much anything we want in it when going away, very thirsty and a shocking turning circle though. Thanks

Both very good vehicles but very different in my view. The Murano is a bigger vehicle so its really a matter of what size vehicle you actually need.

If you have had a good run out of a Mitsubishi in the past the Outlander won't disappoint.

We're still driving the predecessor of the Outlander, a 2004 Airtrek 2.4 litre, which gives us no trouble, despite the hairy gravel roads home up the hill that we need to deal with.
