The MSRP in New Zealand for a Highlander Ltd is NZD $ 66.990 and Lexus RX350 Lts 2011 is NZD $ 116,000.

The MSRP in USA for a Similar Spec Highlander Ltd is USD $ 37,000 (NZD $43,400) and Lexus RX350 2011 with similar NZ Spec USD $ 48,787. (NZD $57,350)

1.   Why such a big difference in price for similar cars in USA and New Zealand.
2.   The Mark up for an RX 350 seems to be close to 50% than the US price and Highlander is about 25%.
3.   If I bought a Brand New RX350 from Japan or UK would the car be considered as a used import or a New Import.
4.   Would Lexus honor the New Car warranty in New Zealand for the RX350
5.   Would you be able to give me a comparison between Toyota Highlander Ltd 2011 VS Lexus RX350 Ltd 2011.

As far as honouring the new car warranty you would need to talk to Lexus NZ.

Regarding the comparisons and using the NZ new models as a point of reference, the difference between the two is light and day hence the large price variation.
