Hi ther, im currently trying to find a suitable mid sized station wagon under $5000.

Ive looked at the Suzuki Cultus and Nissan Avenir SalutX which i do like, but im finding that a lot of the wagons ive seen dont have boot covers, making all the boot contents visible to passersby. I have seen some vehicles which have tinted back windows but I still see this as having higher potential for theft?

Do u know if these items are easy and cheap enough to pick up and are they necessary?

You are the only one who can decide how necessary having a boot cover is.

There are some owners who leave the boot covers in the garage and never use them while others, who travel with items they would rather have stored out of sight, would use them on a daily basis.

You may be lucky enough to pick one up from a wrecker if a cover was available and fitted on these models as standard.

It would be wise to do some checking and ringing around before you buy either of these vehicles.
