I am looking to buy a station wagon (that I can sleep in for short trips and fit my bike - 180cm). I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the options and different advice. I had thought to get a Toyota Avensis (2005) but have been advised that the D4 engine is no good?

What other recommendations do people have?

Toyota Fielder was another option but they are a bit smaller than I would like. I want something super reliable, doesn't need to look good. Any help much appreciated!

Hi I'm not sure of the exact dimensions but the Honda Accord euro wagon is quite a reliable larger model along with the Mazda 6 wagon.
There are also small MPV's like the Toyota Wish and Honda Stream that may suit also these are not quite wagons but very reliable and well priced.
