I am planning on buying a second hand Japanese import 2016 Toyota Aqua ( 19830 km). I have booked an AA inspection but wondering if I should still get a car history check as well even though the car has not yet been registered in NZ ? Also, is this a good reliable and most of all safe car to choose?

Hi the Aqua is a good choice and we don't have many complaints, it has a 4 star safety rating according to right car.
Unfortunately our history reports will only start to gather information once the vehicle is registered in New Zealand so the information we have would be quite limited.
