I want to buy a Toyota Ipsum 2001 - 2,4 l petrol engine. I can't find a reliable source whether it is belt or chain driven engine. Can you advice , please? Also, how are these cars in terms of fuel consumption ? Thank you .

This model appears to have a 2AZ-FE engine so should be chain driven.
As far as economy goes I would estimate around about 10l /100 km based on a NZ new Camry with the same engine model code and a 4 speed automatic transmission.
