Which car would recomend me to get? No kids, driving every day city -north shore. Need a good one getting uphills, read about trying to avoid CVT transmissions and rethinking about Toyota Vitz 2015 imported from Japan.

The CVT transmission is used in a lot of vehicles as of late, some a brilliant and some can be a bit of trouble.
Toyota, Subaru, and Mazda are good mainstream vehicles with very little transmission issues to warn of. Toyota Corolla use a 1.8ltr engine which will provide good power, Subaru and Mazda have the Sport with 2ltr options.
