Hi,

Unfortunately, I don't know much about cars but I'm looking at buying a station-wagon around the 20k mark. I like the look of both the Mazda Atenza and the Audi A4 but I haven't been able to find direct comparisons of them online.

Which one would be a better purchase? What are the pros and cons of both? At the moment they seem to go for roughly the same price and I like how they both look.

The key difference in these two cars is manufacturer origin. Mazda is a Japanese manufacturer and are a great choice, reliable, reasonable to service and maintain and fairly good on fuel. The Audi is European, they are also fantastic cars, great to drive, lots of safety technology, good on fuel. However they can incur higher service and maintenance costs especially as the age beyond 10 years old.
