buying used IS220D, just over 100k mileage, 6spd manual, 2231cc.

Any issues with this car with 'limp mode' display to DPF/EGR, VSA, sensor issues.

Did Toyota have a recall of this model engine due to defects?

are you able to provide some feedback (positive, negative) for this car?

We've not received any feedback positive or negative from Lexus owners. However the online information we have access to outlines a few problems and various remedies found as below.
I recommend having the car pre purchase inspected and ask Toyota/Lexus about recalls.

Rear view mirror permanently vibrates whilst driving.
Knocking noise from front brakes when braking whilst cornering.
Loss of coolant.
Engine overheating.
Engine runs erratically or fails to start.
Steering operation not smooth when maneuvering or parking.
Engine malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illuminated.
Engine runs in limp home mode.
Trouble code stored in engine control module (ECM) fault memory: P2002.
Squeaking noise from front seats when driving.

I would say private sale in good condition would be between $11-12k and retail around the $13k mark.
