I'm in the middle of purchasing a car and have told the salesman that Id like to get an AA inspection report done (Im not car savvy) , he then suggested that he would ' save me some money' and organise an MTA inspection - is there much difference between the 2?

The dealer provided me a copy of an MTA prepurchase report and it seems to have been done at an AA Auto Center... any ideas?

There should not be any MTA PPI reports carried out at an AA site as we have our own product. Maybe if you are able to email it to aatech@aa.co.nz and we can take a look?
