Hi, I'm deciding between a 2011 Mazda Demio 1.3cc and a 2012 Honda Fit Hybrid 1.5cc (4k more costly) and both are CVT transmissions. Would like to know if any of these models have any major issues especially with regards to the CVT tranamission and also the costs associated with repairs/servicing/spare parts. Also would like to know he current market price for the 2011 Mazda Demio and if the extra cost on the Honda is worth it. Thanks

As you are dealing with used imported Japanese vehicles, longevity is often unknown because the condition and servicing of each vehicle can vary.
However in saying that, we have received no complaints with Mazda as opposed to Honda CVT which in some situations be prone to shuddering. You might need to look at asking prices for the same vehicles in same condition and mileage to determine market value for imports.
