I'm rejecting my car dues to a blown engine, I have spent a lot of money on it, radio, solar panels, alarm system, it will cause to much damage to pull it all off, can I claim the cost back for the items as well as what I paid for the vehicle

Hi there,
The only one to answer this is through a disputes tribunal, however I'm not sure it's the sellers responsibility to reimburse for modifications carried out by the owner. They are tasked with repair, or if the fault is serious then rejection of the vehicle is an option for discussion. https://www.consumerprotection.govt.nz/help-product-service/cars/solving-issues-car-dealer/
