Hi there, I am planning to import Mini Crossover S model from Japan through 'import your car' agency in NZ and they will take the responsibilities of importing, customs clearance and WoF process. I am looking for the 2012-2014 year models, less than 60K mileage. I have found that some of these cars have digital navigation /head unit, and I am not sure if this could be reset to use in New Zealand (loading NZ maps and changing the language to English), do you know about this?
I would like to take the mechanical warranty for this car, could provide procedure to get it and any suggestions please?
Apart from this, is there any other things I should be aware of this model? Is it a good decision to buy this model?
Thanks Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,
I don't know of any specific issues to alert you to, just make sure the car doesn't have snow tyres fitted and is not rusty underneath. For MBI enquiries please email enquiries@aafinance.co.nz. There may be some specialists in your area who can convert a Japanese navigation into English, like Rapid Radio,
