Hi, I am looking for a used car for a learner driver $5k or under. I have seen a 2008 Kia Rio with 100,000km. Are there any known problems to watch out for?

We haven't herd of many issues with the 2008 Rio, If it has reached 100,000km check the engine careful to see if it is driven by a cambelt.
If there is no evidence of a cambelt replacement it may well be due, you should try and factor this into the purchase price.
