Hi
I am looking at small cars in the 1300cc to 2000cc rating. What would you recommend in the price range of around $8,000 to $12,000.

Is there a comparison guide for small cars?

Hi there,
As the most popular cars in this price range are more likely to be used Japanese imports, there is very little information available and require lots of searching.
Small cars in this range do however have a NZ new similar , cars like Toyota Vitz (import) and Toyota Yaris (NZ new), Mazda Demio vs Mazda 2, Suzuki swift are all ones that I recommend looking into. Trade-me will be flooded with options for you to immediately decide if you should pursue a test-drive of any one on the list and progress to the next stage by getting an inspection.
