The new car has to be one that my wife with hip problems can get in easily. We have looked at the Corolla Hatch but it is too low and the seats are not made for sliding into easily. We've tried the Corolla Sedan and it is much easier to get into. I have looked at reviews and it seems the Corolla Sedan is a bit behind the times and the transmission isn't liked by some. However we quite like the car and the price for a 2016 or17 Signature Class model seems reasonable. Would you recommend a Corolla sedan in this day and age.

We haven't received any complaints about Toyotas of this vintage, they also tend to have good resale value when the time comes to sell.
Some may say its behind the times others may say there is less to go wrong.
