Just wanted your opinion on buying a 2005 Mazda Demio from a car dealer its freshly imported from Japan and only has 2000kms on clock...it is AA verified and is immaculate condition. My concern is it may have been sitting garaged for 14 years? Thats a long time aye? what possible problems could I encounter?

These Km's are very low and could have the reverse effect on some components that require the vehicle operating to maintain working condition.
Lubricated items like the transmission and waterpump may not like sitting around for long periods of time, the cooling system thermostat might seize if the engine is not run hot often, moisture can rust exhaust systems from the inside out, and the fuel/intake system may also carbon up or cause issue if the vehicle was not run hot often. The tyres would be old, hard and might show signs of cracking. This vehicle may look brand new but sitting around is not always a good thing for some areas of the car, so careful checks recommended.
