Hi, I’m looking at buying my wife a car for her to commute in, they are both the same price.
2003 VW Golf 2.0, import with 105,000 kms; or
2007 Hyundai Accent NZ new, with 178,500kms

Which one would you recommend ?

We would recommend buying the newest car your budget allows, as this would ensure the best possibility of having more up to date safety features. Also NZ new is also seen as a better option with regards to obtaining history checks and servicing history.
